Winter month is best month to visit goa to enjoy sunny days, blissful beaches, fresh sea food, vibrant markets, wild night life and much more. BEST TIME TO VISIT GOA
Best time to visit depends on your purpose. If you are interested in sightseeing, then avoid monsoon(June to August) months but during monsoon there is so much less crowded, you will get a clean beaches and there is lots of greenery everywhere. For exquisite beauty with enthralling experiences, you need to plan a visit winter (November to February). These months are also suitable for those who are interested in relaxing by the beach.

Summer-average temperature of 30°C
GOA IS IN THREE PARTS-
1- SOUTH GOA-South Goa is more about nature's beauty and peaceful. Clean beaches with coconut trees and greenery best describes south Goa. As I visited during winter the beaches were not very crowded and and the sky was so clean which we enjoyed the sunset of Goa.
FAMOUS BEACHES-
*Velsao Beach (Distance from Panaji 26km)-
This beach have a Soft silver sand dotted with white sea shells and an occasional starfish,
with lining coconut trees on the side of the beach, groves lakes decorated with lilies with warm waters are the reasons this beach is one of the best romantic secret beaches in Goa. I suggest, you must visit this place.

*Butterfly Beach (Distance from Panaji 68km)-
*My one of Fevourite beach
Butterfly beach is one of the most beautiful beaches of Goa, yet unexplored places in Goa as very few people knows about it. When here, Travelers have a thrilling opportunity to spot dolphins, variety of butterflies and ride on the waves of the seas.
You can reached here by road and then few km's of trekking ,
And the second one is by boat.You can take a boat from Kakolem beach(Canacona) to butterfly beach via monkey island and dolphin sightseen .
They will charge you around 300-400* each person

*Colva Beach (Distance from Panaji 34km)A beach which have a lining of coconut trees and a white sand, it is a gem in the crown of Goa Tourism. The Colva Beach is situated about 37.6 km's from the South Goa, it is one of the oldest and one of the most popular beaches in South Goa. You can spend a perfect quality morning sunbath on the sands of the Colva Beach.

*Palolem Beach (Distance from panaji 70km)
The Palolem Beach which is located in Canacona .The Road way of South goa to Palolem beach will give you an incredible experience, and this is one of the very few beaches in South Goa that hasn’t been spoilt by groups of tourists. The beach pulls you in a warm embrace, with its rocky outfit covered by trees and this is also known as the Green Island of goa.
*Cola Beach(Distance from Panaji 64km)
The hidden beaches in South Goa. Cola is well known for its green water lagoons. This spectacular beach is away 15km from Palolem beach. The perfect getaway specially if you are looking for a some peaceful and quality time. There is some area's which is private here. This beach is not easy to get to ,you can reached here by trekking some mountainous hills. If you are adventure lover then you must visit this place.

2- NORTH GOA- For Partying, water sports (like Parasailing, Banana ride, Jet ski, water Boarding and many more things ), crowded beaches, churches, sightseeing and Night clubs. Being a vibrant land for late-night partying, North Goa is always the best nightlife destination for foreigners and Indian holidaymakers.
*Arambol Beach (Distance from panaji 36km)
This beach is also known as Harmal beach. That is one of the most beautiful and relatively less crowded beaches of north goa.
Also, It offers a serene and peaceful experience for the tourists. Arambol is one of those beaches which are untouched and unexploited by the crowd and offers solitude. There is a small lake known as SWEET LAKE which have a green water and the surrounding of the lake is fully covered with greenery and coconut palms . In fact, this is one of the cleanest beaches in North Goa.

*Vagator beach (Distance from panaji 21km)
Vagator is most pleasant and also a less crowded beach, located at just North of Anjuna. You can visit there by road to Vagator beach comes to an end at a high cliff from where the stairs go down to the beach.The view from the top of the cliff is just amazing. The Saturday Night Market is famous in Vagator beach you can visit the market Saturday evening to late at night. here you get a great deals on textiles, cloths, shoes, handmade crafts, artificial jewellery, carpets and many more things. There is no better way to spend a Saturday evening than by checking out this market.

*Baga Beach (Distance from panaji 18km)The beach which never sleeps. From the sunrise to midnight this beach is always full on sparkling. Baga beach is the most happening and lively and also a very crowded beach of Goa. This beach never fails to amaze the tourists with its lively shacks, parties, music, and mouth-watering food & drinks. In Baga beach you can enjoy the parasailing ride, banana ride, Jet ski, boating and many water sports activity in less prices compared to other beaches of Goa.

*Morjim Beach (Distance from panaji 27km)Morjim is one of those beaches in Goa which put forward to you peace and calmness. Situated in the south of Ashwem beach, this beach attracts tourists who want to relax/unwind and you can get a variety of delicious food here. The view is just amazing where the Chopdem river meets the Arabian sea to the south of this beach. The famous Chapora fort is also seen on the top of a hill.

3- OLD GOA
Old Goa is a historical city which is situated on the banks of the Mandovi River. The city was established by the Bijapur Sultanate in the 15th century and served as capital of Portuguese India from the 16th century until its abandonment in the 18th century due to a plague. Under the Portuguese, it is said to have once been a city of nearly 200,000 wherefrom, before the plague, the Portuguese traded across continents. The remains of the city are a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Old Goa is approximately 10 kilometres east of the state capital Panaji. (wikipedia)

*Divar Island – Goa’s Best Kept Secret Island
(Distance from panaji 12km)-
Must visit place to explore in old Goa. Divar Island is a little island on the Mandovi River which is away from 12km from Panaji. You can only visit divar island from Ferries or boat which you can board from Panaji or Viceroy's arch in Goa. If you plan your visit during August, you can also be a part of the Bonderam Festival which celebrates the picking season. It is definitely one of the best sightseeing places in Old Goa.

*Basilica of Bom Jesus –(World Heritage Monument)

Basilica of Bom Jesus a church which was built in the 16th century and it is one of the most tourist attraction place of Goa. The iconic brown and red brick-colored construction is visited by visitors all round the year and Basilica of Bom Jesus is a World Heritage Monument.
*Fontainhas – A Small Latin Establishment (Distance from panaji 8.4km)
Fontainhas is a small village type places which is stablish in Panaji. That is one of the most iconic old goa tourism places. This is certainly the best heritage destination with lots of colorfull houses and a small spring to admire. *St. Augustine Ruins – Iberian Architecture

St. Augustine Ruins/tower site is also one of the most famous and tourist attraction in Old Goa which is also one of the most iconic and historic sites in Goa. if you want to a good Photographs then definitely you have to visit this place. The tower was 46 m high and it was built in the 17th century.
*Sinquerim Fort: Catch Portuguese Architecture (Distance from panaji 14km )
The eye-catching Portuguese architecture and the views of the sunset is marvellous , Sinquerim fort is one of favourite place of every photographer who comes looking for unexplored places to visit in Goa.So much movies scene are from this place. The beach is also a pure delight with a soft sands and a cool breeze, like swimming, beach volleyball, scuba diving and many more things.

BARS AND CLUBS IN GOA
TITO'S CLUB AND BAR-
Tito's club and bars are the most popular and oldest club of goa which is located in the north Goa near baga beach and around 3km from calangute beach. Tito's Club is famous for its location and the dance floor also have a bars and Restaurant which opens till midnight.
Entry fees - 1500-2000*
MAMBO'S CAFE
Mambo's cafe also a Tito's group cafe and it is also located in the area of Baga beach. An anothe famous spot for night life in Goa .This place have an open air-lounge and decent size dance floor and Mambo's also host both Indian and International DJ's and famous for music and theme night.

WHERE TO STAY
I recommend you to stay 3 day's in South Goa and 4 day's in North Goa.
South Goa is bit expensive comparison to North Goa.

You can rent a motor Byke or car in many places of Goa ,like near Madgao railway station , Baga beach , Panaji market. I rent a Scooty from Madgao (south goa) which is around 350 per day .
